The Premier League
Does anyone else reflect every now and then about just how far we've come in just a short space of time, or is it just me?

Just a few weeks ago we were in the semi-final of a European competition which we lost to the only team in the competition who were better than us. And I watched a Talksport youtube clip yesterday on prem clubs who might be in relegation trouble and our name wasn't mentioned once.

It only seems like 5 mins since: 1. We won away at Huddersfield with Cooper watching in the stands, 2. We won at Wembley and the utter jubilation that followed, and then 3. How we rocked up to St James' Park full of optimism only to be utterly and completely outclassed in every aspect.

You been on the happy juice Pap?
What happened to “We’re relegation certainties, were doomed!” Etc. What’s wrong with you?

Jokes apart I do agree, weve come a long way since spending the summer trying to get Knockaert on loan.

As another reminder of how far we’ve come and a bit of proof Im not all about the gloom myself.

10 years ago today we had to start the season with a section of the ground cordoned off thanks to our previous owner messing up. At one point it looked like the ground could be closed completely.

Now lets get this planning stuff through eh?

Didn’t they sack the guy that used to renew the safety licence with the council?

Trafford to Leeds confimed. Will be interesting to see how he does with a run of matches. Big fee but if he ends up being good it'll be worth it.

Elanga stretchered off for Newcastle. It's been an off-season for the ages for them.

Shea Charles to Fulham, a bit disappointed we didn’t look at him.

You’ve gotta assume the data doesn’t add up but then there’s the eyeball test and when does one go in tandem instead of superceding the other

Troy parrott still hasn’t been snapped up to try and produce on a biggest stage either
