The guy is a grade A prick. Racist songs with Argentina and the most petulant, slappable face in the Premier League.

That's saying something when you play in the same league as Bruno Fernandes. Must be something about that surname.

Spurs close to signing Senesi and Robertson. Must be financially motivated in both cases because both players could surely move to better clubs.

I'm not sure I see the appeal of signing for Spurs, even if they have loosened their wage structure a bit.

Back to back 16th place finishes, clearly a fairly average squad that for years had been propped up by Kane and Son so they will need a lot to rebuild that. I get the stadium stuff and the fact that they play in London, but they have a pretty big stigma attached to them these days (Spursy). Plus who has gone and improved their careers by signing for Spurs in recent times, I can think of no-one.

Frank Lampard was Plan B for Palace according to BBC Sport.

Lampard is doing well where he is, built a team, no great pressure to deliver other than survival, if I was him I would stay.

I am glad Slot has gone - found him very arrogant last season, especially towards us. He inherited a good squad with a good way of playing and was very fortunate. He then spent around 500m and made them worse - not a very good advert as a manager and he has got what he deserved.

The trouble for Palace is, they dont back their managers. I cant see Lamaprd walking out the door and leaving Cov in the  shite. Not for Palace anyway.
