The Championship
Both teams look like they'd need a massive overhaul to have any chance of surviving in the Premier League. But then watching our final vs. Huddersfield you could've probably said the same.

I bet the EFL are praying Hull win.

And looks like their prayers will be answered.

That's what we thought last year too though with Sunderland.

Nah Hull nowhere near, literally a whole squad needed.

West Ham are sticking with Nuno.

(for now anyway)

Interesting given the negative stories that have been written by him with (what appears to have been) some internal information being released by people within the Club

Send out signals for 2 or 3 days that the manager's job's on the line, then offer them the chance to stay but with a massive pay cut. It's that kind of stuff that has resulted in the relegation of West Ham and why their fans hate their owners so much.

Its the correct decision though, Nuno's been down there with Wolves (albeit with a bankrolled prem squad) and got a team promoted. If they'd have sacked him and brought in say Scott Parker, they'd be promoted in 12 months but have a 2nd rate manager in place for the following prem campaign.

Got Sky Sports on in the background whilst working from home and there are a load of Championship Review of the Season programmes on.

Please let us never, ever go back to the days of getting tonked at home by Sheffield Wednesday and the likes ever again.

It is funny watching the sheep manage to throw away great promotion chances year after year though.

I watched Sheep v Lincoln at the weekend. OMG what a poor standard that is. I really don't want to a prem fan who talks down the championship but my, how we've improved over the last 4 years!

Listened to Joe Lolley on the Forest Focus podcast yesterday. I had real trouble listening to it. It was like re-living a part of my life I'd compartmentalised!

Joe is pretty bitter about how he was treated by Cooper. Fair enough and I think there are enough stories now to accept Cooper wasn’t always Mr Genial behind the scenes even if he did produce miracles. However Joe played 27 times in the promotion season and his form both his last 2 seasons was patchy at best.
Should probably have cashed in on him when he had his standout year, think Villa put £15m on the table at one point.

Players get bombed off all the time by clubs. Joe's clearly a thinking man and it sounds like its left a scar when his turn came around.

My takeaway from the interview was that hes probably wasted a lot of his potential by not having his operation sooner due to less advanced knowledge about his condition here. That might be further fueling his frustration about how his time ended with us.
