Vitor Pereira - Our Manager
Cant really see what VP has done not to deserve a chance next season.

He has got that camerarderie back, we look solid at the back again and has us firing on all cylinders up front.

The return of Wood has helped him, but he has also shown an inventiveness when it comes to getting the best out of the players and has been quite adept at rotating the squad to ensure the standards remained high on both fronts.

He did alright at Wolves, who then sold their best players and did not replenish with anything like the same quality; he will not have that to put up with here.

Based on whats been seen so far I would be more than happy to see Vitor stay on and be given a 2 year deal.

I agree.

However the season has not finished yet and could still go either way.

We could stay up, win the EL and be in the CL next season (definitely keep).

Or we could lose to Villa and end up getting relegated (probably be sacked).

Lets see how the season ends and then the stick or twist discussion will begin.

We will know the outcome of the above scenarios in just over 3 weeks.
You have to think Forest are the only possible club where the outcome could be unbelievable glory or complete disaster in such a short space of time.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but we're joint-top PL scorers since Vitor took over.

Pretty amazing turnaround in the goal difference stats, 16-7 compared to 20-23 for Dyche over more than double the games and I'd argue a more difficult set of fixtures (in the Prem that is).

Impressive turnaround, particularly given how things were going before he took over and looking at how West Ham have done, we'd surely be in the bottom 3 now if it wasn't for the upturn in form.

Personally I’d argue that he’s been able to achieve that as a result of Dyche’s tenure, who had succeeded two managers in two months, inherited back room issues, not won a game in the Europa League, and a team that was not fit enough to deal with the rigours of competing on three fronts.

It still remains that after 33 games in the PL this season we’d been outrun in 25 of them, with only Chelsea and Liverpool worse than us.

Arsenal and Man City were 20th and 18th respectively, so despite all the claims and memes about running, the reality is that success is pretty hard to achieve without hard work and effort.

This is nothing whatsoever against Vitor, just Percy’s article and he has written near identical puff pieces about Cooper, Nuno, Dyche and now Vitor. Same fluff about behind the scenes atmosphere, canteen togetherness, yawn. He would probably have written some crap about Ange if he had been here long enough.

Sorry apart from that its a nice article. Im just bitter cos he blocked me on X for calling him a club mouthpiece!

I thought it was a decent read and some nice insights into the backroom staff personally but like with manager interviews it should be taken with huge pinch of salt.
