Sunderland - Nottingham Forest
Wow.

Sensational result.

Pretty much hated every minute of the 2nd half though right up until we got the 5th (even 4-0 up, I was still nervous as hell), but what a way to start the weekend.

Well done to everyone involved.

In a Premier Inn and my head is banging.

First off, well done to Vitor, I’ve questioned him so far but that win is all him, set us up to be on the front foot and boy were we.

At four nil I was in shock, five dreamland.

All the boys played well, we did the odd daft thing at times but Sunderland despite trying to stay positive just couldn’t break us down.

Massive shout out to Sangare who I often feel shows up more against the weaker midfield combos, he was incredible in those first 45 minutes.

Biggest defeat for Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Biggest away win for us since Hillsbrough? Ten points off Europe.

What a way to start the weekend.

I hope we go full strength on Thursday and give ourselves a proper chance.

Hopefully all these injuries/precautionary subs are nothing too serious.

Anyway off to Wetherspoons for breakfast

I don't know what to say to be honest.

For once I am lost for words.

Can you imagine being a spurs fan last night? Youd be tuned in, full of optimism that a forest loss and spurs win tomorrow brings them right back. And then wollop, 0-5.

Tim Sherwood is very quiet today.

Where is Chris Sutton too?

For which we should all be thankful.

Sutton annoys me as much as Neville which is quite some achievement. Mainly because he claims to be a Forest fan which is hard to believe reading the stuff he writes.

If anybody has recovered any limbs in the away end, they are likely mine. What a night. What a performance.

Been a while. But traipsing around Europe, getting a business of the ground and life generally has got in the way.

Getting home at 3am after Sunderland was so worth it. Couldn't believe what I was watching. Hutchinson was electric 1st half and has set a standard for himself to try and emulate consistently.

Despite the rest of the results, I am confident we will stay up and I dream of a 2nd trip to Istanbul as the first was the best football atmosphere I've ever experienced in 50 years!
