Allegedly it can, although I suspect the EFL would prefer Leicester to go down of the two of them. Wouldn't be surprised if any suggested punishment is not enough to save Leicester by 1 point in that scenario.

It is ridiculous it could be decided after the fact as then they can pick a number that either does or doesn't relegate them.

Oxford are above Leicester in the relegation zone and playing well so it would send West Brom and Lesta down as it stands.

West Brom are 2-0 up so even a points deduction for them might not save Leicester.

I just read a bit about the West Brom situation and it sounds harsh if they get done - should be a small deduction if they do. Currently 8 points the gap to Leicester so even a 2 pointer deduction probably won’t save Leicester.
