Pap he only need a couple of wins and a draw or possibly two to keep them up, new manager bounce normally comes into play when "named" guy comes into the club. The London media and 70K capacity stadium full of Spuds fans will get the over the line in my opinion.

Not sure that's right though Lolly. For that to be right you have to assume that other clubs aren't also going to get 'a couple of wins and a draw or two'. The trouble for Spurs is that Forest and West Ham both seem to have found a little bit of decent form of late and most impartial observers seem to think both are capable of getting a few results. Before I saw Spurs close up I was of that opinion that they'd have too much, are too big to go down etc but not now. The way they capitulated against us was an eye opener. Losing a must win game to a direct rival 0-3 at home. That takes some doing that does!

I rate De Zerbi, think he will improve them. They ultimately have an easier run in than ourselves and West Ham, whether that will be enough will likely depend on the other three teams.

I think this situation does make it less likely that Spurs just completely collapse and fail to win again say, which it did feel like wasn't impossible.

De Zerbi is a systems manager, and there is no way he can implement that without a pre season.

Definitely get a bounce with Zerbi. See him on the magic roundabout?

One for the kids

His best PPG in his first 6 games going into a new job, without a pre-season is 0.5PPG
Would take that as that would put Spurs on 33/34 points

Trust me nothing about the magic roundabout was suitable for kids!

8pts in his first 7 at Brighton is that enough.

If he takes it when does he get the players on the training ground? 13 days until they play away to Sunderland they are WWLLL in their last 5 at home those loses were Brighton, Fulham and Liverpool

Spurs are LDLLD away the loses are Fulham, Man Utd and Bournemouth

Mixed bag really

Vicario had hernia surgery with the view of being ready for this game
Bissouma and kudus should be back too maybe

Do the players really have the fight

It's already going well...

'Three Tottenham fan groups have urged the club to rethink any potential appointment of Roberto De Zerbi due to his past backing of Marseille forward Mason Greenwood'.
Panic on the streets of London

Tottenham have given De Zerbi a 5 year contract worth £60m. £12m per year.
With NO Relegation Clause.

That might be interesting when they sack him in May.
