Do people really care what other fans think of us?

Personally I couldn't give a damn.

Most of them would love to be us.

Perhaps we should change the lyrics to the Millwall anthem? "We are Forest, Super Forest from the Trent, Noone likes us, we don't care..."

I dont really care but there is usually an element of truth in how clubs are perceived. The videos they regularly make about Man Utd and Spurs are hilarious to be fair. Its all good humour and we have to take it on the chin.

We all seem to get whipped up into a frenzy and demand instant success.

Not on here, I mean our fans in general and our owners and board etc.

I think it would be a good idea if everyone just took a big deep breath and took a step back.

Wouldn't it be nice just to be boring Nottingham Forest for a while?

Just quietly go about our business, stabilise as a club for 2 or 3 years hopefully in the PL and stay out of the news.

Had an interesting chat yesterday.

Three names in the hat.

1. Marco Silva - Still the number one target whichever league we are in.

2. Steve Cooper - If Silva turns us down and most likely if we get relegated.

3. Vitor Periera - If Silva turns us down and we have a strong finish to the season.

Think we really need continuity, If Periera does a good job stick with him

Marco Silva is the only one on that list. If there our only other options moving forward then WTF? are we thinking.

I think silva has already turned us down, hope im wrong. The amount of times hes been strong favorite with every sacking why has nothing been done about it straight after nuno, could of paid the 8m release clause if he wanted to come. But we took risks with 2 managers. Knowing compo would exceed 15m. Something doesnt sit right. What was the personal reasons he suddenly left oly for Sniff? Do you know?. hope im feeling is wrong and he does come if vitor leaves. But we can clearly see the players are fighting for him, big weekend ahead. Hopefully city win and we do

If Cooper is being considered that feels like contingency planning in case we are in the Championship.
A bit of me would welcome him. The cynic in me says it would be a PR exercise to cover up the catastrophe of relegation.

But would Cooper come back here? Its all well and good saying he is on this list, that list or the other list, but if he doesnt want to come back and work for the owner that f****d him off because he wasnt experienced enough for the prem, then why would he want to come back, get promoted (hopefully), then get toe ended out the door again............. and repeat!!
