Europa League 25/26
With Savona out for the season can we replace him in the Europa squad with Netz?

Aren’t we using Ortega as the injury sub? Not sure if there is an additional place for GK.

Didn’t realise Savona out for season, where was that announced?

He is having knee surgery so I imagine he won't play again this season.

Shame for the lad, bit of a strange signing, did reasonably well when thrown in but never really looked comfortable particularly one on one. Definitely haven’t given up on him though and hopefully a long term future here.

No you can’t
You can only have an injury replacement in the group stages

One of the Edu / Kia signings
Completely different profile to the full back targets put forward by Syrianos abd Ferreira

This is why switching to wingback makes sense, at least can stick N'Doye in there too then probably. Maybe Bakwa as well or Dominguez perhaps.

I thought both him and Cunha had been specifically signed to develop as quick tall CB’s to play either side of Milenkovic in a back three after Murillo’s inevitable departure in the summer.

The problem was we couldn’t get in sufficient wing backs or full backs and so Savona was Hobson’s choice.
I can’t see how that was his fault and thought he did pretty well tbf.
Same principle/issue applies to Abbott to a lesser extent.

Nice of Steve Cooper to arrange for our fans to get an unobstructed view for our visit in a few weeks.

Off topic but you heard it here first...

Steve Cooper could be back in the Nottingham Forest dugout next season.

The away dugout if both Forest and Brondby qualify for the Champions League...?
