I think a dose of reality is needed for Vitor. I hope for the sake of the fans, club, owner, sponsors, his family and the players he exceeds expectations and not only keeps us up but wins the EL. I hope the new manager bounce becomes real and we see exciting football with associated victories and we all breath a sign of relief.
Granted he had some success with Porto and Oly but they are not the premier league.
He left OLY after 5 months after some disagreements?
Several other clubs have sacked him after "poor results" including Wolves which had the worst start to a season of any premier league team with 3 points out of 30.
I'm hopeful that the players knuckle down and play out of their skin for the remaining premier league fixtures and we achieve safety with games to spare but expecting them to adapt to the 4th change in playing style in a single season I think will be the clubs downfall.

Is there likely to be a press conference or interview with VP today?

Agree with this, think we are expecting too much.
I think there could be a bit like after Megson went and I think we had Barlow and McParland caretaking and there was a feeling the team could express themselves. Just not convinced at this level its quite such an easy fix.
Just need to get 3 wins and 4 draws from the remaining games, how he does it I really dont care.

Yep thats the one I meant, Ange unlocked it fleetingly then it was locked back up. Makes you wonder if he had preseason whether he'd of been able to do enough to make is competitive.

Send the team out as they're used to playing and only change the shape mid game, on the hoof, if needs be. And send the odd sub on when something's clearly not working!
That dominant shape we've been employing up until now?!

Yep, a back 4 (rather than a back 3/5) that almost got us into the champions league last season. We've demonstrated we can play, and that we have good players. We dont need to throw out the baby with the bath water.

Minus a 20 a season goal scorer, of course. Which has been the main problem this season.

We demonstrated we could play last year with Elanga and Wood in the team. Aside from the aforementioned Betis game we've not shown we can play without those guys this season.

I just can't bring myself to watch another new manager interview.
I'll give it a miss and see what he says on the pitch.

Pity because it's a good interview which contains non of the Forest is a massive club with a huge history and European Cups etc.
It's a great insight into how Vitor works and the environment he craves to create etc.
