Leeds - Nottingham Forest

Why wasn't he considered to start this game. It was obvious we should have started Metz. He looked decent when he came on. Aina looked uncomfortable starting on the left and Abbott just slightly out of his depth. He wasn't terrible, but Metz a cut above. Morato is horrible. Cunha all day for me as I like the lad. At least he is not sleeping half the time like the other giant Brazilian who is f*****g awful. Dom on the right has worked of late but he is a central midfielder. We looked completely out of shape and when Leeds scored the soft first goal we looked sooooooo fcuking passive. Leeds aren't good but they out fought us all across the park. Out of position selections. No fight in the game. Jesus beyond isolated again. The poor b*****d cannot do anything if he is by himself all the time. Also we had 9 corners to their 5. All of them gash. Why is Anderson taking them? Hutchinson would be a better bet. Oh I forgot we didn't play him until it was too late.

I really thought this was our worst performance of the season. We made leeds look good. Anderson was too deep and gave one goal away by farting around at the back. we had no passage forward just hoof. Lucca can score headers but wasn't particularly strong. We need to be braver against teams we can beat. i don't really understand how we can be so passive against teams who could be there for the taking. And also Morgan off and no Mcatee?

terrible terrible night. Dyche got it wrong. The team was poor. We were out fought. Morato is f*****g horrible. I would have had abbott or Cunha playing instead of him. Actually Cunha who was excellent in the club world cup against PSG and others. Metz looked fine.

Let's hope we are better against Wolves because we deserved nothing from this game. Yatesy for me against Wolves....

Chicago: Recoiling in horror.

Whose Metz? C’mon Chicago At least get our players names right.

Right I'm going to sleep on that and try to come up with something constructive but tonight I'm just baffled, that performance came out of nowhere. Id have taken a scrappy defeat but there was no scrap. I hope Leeds stay up with Forest, proper team, f**k west ham

I don't get your comment here at all mate.

Why are you baffled and how did that performance come out of nowhere?

We have seen it plenty of times now.

We have won just 2 of our last 9 PL games.

And we can chuck in embarrassing defeats to Wrexham and Braga too in cup competitions.

Why are you baffled?

To be fair Sniffer you created a 'Dyche out' thread then had to change the name because we've been playing well in the league. We've shown fight and grit in all the recent games including when down to 10 men. That was absent tonight in such a big game.

But that's on the players, along with Anderson's corners and Aina making terrible decisions even when on the right.

That said, for me this result is on the management decision to go to a back 3 mid game when it wasn't necessary. I'm not going to hammer him for picking Abbott over Netz as that was a call that could go either way.

Only positives I can muster: you learn from defeats and we normally do see a reaction in the next game and Lucca was a nice header with Hutch getting another assist.

I'm guessing like many other people on here, my expectations changed when I saw the back 5 on the lineup. Gunn was unlucky not to get the start and we should have started with Hutchinson and either Luca or Taiwo. I also don't think it's fair on Abbott playing him out of position. He's probably a better centre half than Morato.

S**t performance. Can handle the defeat if we show some fight and an actual plan to get back in the game.

Absolute joker

How is this not getting more discussion?

I was swearing at my monitor last night watching Andersons corners and his set pieces.

For a so called 100M player they really are truly shocking the vast majority of the time.

Which poses the question...

Why does he still take them?

Who's decision is that?

Yep. Same with MGW to some extent free kicks and penalties. Love them both as Forest players and a pleasure to watch them in full flow and on form but there are less skillful but more effective and consistent players out there.

I went to the game last night. Atmosphere in the away end was great for 20 minutes. Then it all went to pot. Dyche doesn’t help himself and frankly I’ve had enough of it. I really hope to see a club statement in the next day or 2.

This has been happening for years at this club it definitely isn’t the current head coach.
Not sure we’ve had a decent corner taker since Andy Reid?
It baffled me that JWP didn’t take them in his brief spell here.

Not one of our attackers made any sign of going to the back post so either the corners were downright shyte or the players weren’t doing what they were told.

This is a supposed £100m player we’re talking about here.

Is he the best of a bad bunch though?

Surely he has the quality to do better than what he was doing?

It isn't normal for professionals to not be able to kick a dead ball from the corner into the middle of the penalty area so frequently. Most players in a team should be able to do that.

Let Ortega take them. Couldn’t be worse. I thought Ortega’s kicking was one of the very few positives from last night.
