They’ll make a PSR profit based on 2+ years of amortisation of a 5 year contract at 47.5mio.

New team running the show, they can just blame the old guy (Levy), book a paper profit and move on, such is the corporate world!

Agree but he's sorted for life now though with his bank balance. That will have been his Dad's primary motivation. 

But football wise, yes, I bet he was still with us.
