This is how the Europa League can work, giving these guys loads of games to build confidence.

Not that there is much competition but let's hope he can give mgw a bit of a run for his money

Totally agree. I’ve been quite critical of him but if he can build on this performance and continue to play like he did today then he will be a great purchase

I know it’s all moot now, but you can see what the plan was. Wood in the league building on last season and Jesus in the Europa smashing braces every game. So many what ifs this season

Also ndoye’s touch and concentration need big work

A very simple what if…….McAtee had taken the pen rather than MGW last week we win that game 1-0, finish 4th and have 2 midweeks off in February.

With us now having Lucca, and Taiwo as a backup, does anyone else think we should not sign another striker?

What’s the point on spending £30/40m on a player that the next manager may not like?

We’re only in two competitions so the current three should be able to manage the load?

It does seem less of a priority since Jesus started scoring and even Taiwo scored a great goal on Sunday.

Do we want to sign a guy that might also block the path to minutes for the two young guys Jesus and Lucca. Can we trust Taiwo if one of those gets injured or Lucca turns out to be a massive dud.

Because a lack of goals would be what relegates us.
Also we need a long term replacement for Wood.
Look at the stats, we have to improve goal output.
