Glad you mentioned Ndoye Bomber.
I found it interesting that he was chosen to come on up top instead of Taiwo to replace Jesus.

Yes I think you are right there.
We do have one (Taiwo) but he couldn't score on grab a granny night in the Festival Inn.

Maybe but Ndoye might just work up top, shouldn’t be on his own but as second striker he could be effective. Hasn’t shown his best here yet but his physical presence makes him quite versatile.

That was my thoughts. Has pace, strength and knows where the goal is. Just a different option.

Nice to see Anderson perform at the level expected.
Some cracking saves from Sels too.
Sels looked good, makes it even more baffling that John was legitimately starting!
Well it seems to have given Sels the kick up the backside that he needed so I am all for it.
I think John in the team had nothing to do with Sells. Sells got an injury, John came in and did nothing much wrong. It wasnt that John was outstanding, he just didn't make any errors. By sticking with him, Dyche was sending a message to the squad players suggesting that if you get the shirt, you keep it, if you do the business.
100% and as Sniffer mentioned. That approach can give players a kick up the backside.
For Thursday I’d like to see likes of Luiz, Yates, McAtee, Bakwa starting and Ndoye given another try up top.
I wouldn't. The players that played yesterday should now be fuelled with confidence. I'd put the same team out and go and try to win the game.

Now I'm sure we've all seen it on the tv, what do we think to the 'hand ball'?
There was a similar incident in the spurs/west ham game yesterday that I was watching and I was screaming hand ball. That wasn't given too.
So imo I don't think we could have complained had the ref given it. We got a let-off there.

Incidentally, if we did get let-off, how refreshing is it to get a decision like that go our way against a glamourpuss side? I thought the ref was decent yesterday, apart from the booking to Aina, which was a tad harsh I thought.

Never a penalty for me.
Anderson nudges Aina in the back which pushes Aina forward onto the ball, the Arsenal player has his foot on Ainas chest (foul) and I am not even convinced that the ball was still in play at the time it hit Aina's arm.
That is my take on it.
