Personally I wouldn't do that.
But I would give game time to Gunn, Savona, Cunha, Morato, McAtee, Luiz, Taiwo, Zinchenko etc. I wonder if Yates is ready for 45 minutes? He can't be far off now.

Ndoye too if he's fit enough.

Do we have enough fit midfielders to rotate players out. Ando definitely needs a rest - Something like below ( I don't like Morato left back but as much rotation as possible!)
Gunn
Savona Cunha Abbott Morato
Zinchenko Luiz
Bakwa Dominguez McAtee
Awonyi

Ndoye is back in full training and was in the travelling squad for West Ham.

Like I’ve said on another thread I’d play sels to give him games yes he’s a pro but he’s just sat out 4 or 5 when being relatively fit
I also would play aina on the left and give him competitive games to build up match fitness if he was good to go first game in Jan then he won’t break down play 60 mins or so against Wrexham
Abbott and cunha at the back, gotta give the Brazilian a chance surely? Savona on the right
Dom and luiz in the middle, ndoye and bakwa on the wings and mcatee as the 10
I guess it would have to be taiwo but I’d also give time (or a start…) to the young sillah from the B team
Hopefully minutes for Sinclair

Gutted about this......I live a 15 minute walk away from the Racecourse & I've been waiting for this fixture for the whole 30 years of living here,
not even been able to get a sniff of a ticket :Anger:
Definitely not a game for the first team but not sure I'd make 11 changes as some are suggesting. I'd keep the defence as is, I doubt wild horses would stop Neco from playing against his hometown team (hopefully we can bring in a new lb so we can rest Neco later on) & Aina is still playing his way back to full fitness so needs the game time. If we were to change anything in defence I wouldn't be too disappointed to see Morato & Cunha in the middle. I'd also keep Sels in goal, Gunn's doing a runner anyway so it's pointless playing him.
I think I'd go with a 433 & push a bit higher up the pitch..
---------Sels-----------
Aina-----Serb (Cunha)-----Murillo (Morato)------Williams
------------Luiz-----------Dom--------------Zinc--------------
------Bakwa/Hutch------Taiwo------------Ndoye-------------

By the way what’s the snow like there? If the weather turning grim later today is there any risk of a postponement?
