Its all about last season, is it?
The belief that we should be challenging for Europe despite being on our 3rd manager and having to dig in to stay afloat.
At present im yet to see Bakwa produce anything that puts him beyond Jota. Hutchinson has taken his chances in the main, last nights brain fart aside.
There's obvious mistakes still in there though, the lack of rotation, the continued weakness at set pieces, the odd team selections like John. Maybe the last few games with Kali and Luiz possibly not options to select he is limited but this lack of rotation existed before that and before Yates/Sangare were unavailable. Also, the weaker squad members aren't going to improve/gain confidence constantly sat on the bench.

Those are traits which could be said of Nuno in terms of him liking a small squad and he rarely rotated. Im not saying its right or wrong, i just think there's a definite snobbery when it comes to Dyche. Silva isnt exactly expansive.
Im more inclined to review in May, give him a proper striker to work with (as in one who knows where to be be in the box and can challenge for the balls we are putting in) and see how he fares.
Entirely open to both scenarios for next season.

Everyone else very average at best.

I can't take watching that level of football every week.
Not calling for anyones head and some are happy with performance levels which is fair enough but I am not one of them.
Agree with all of that bar some being happy with the performance levels, I think some are just being pragmatic but surely no one is happy!?
Bakwa was dog shyte too, I’m heard him being booed again last night (probably the same bloke).

We wont get that lucky every week ether. With an offside goal and a penalty, play like that every week and were soon back in trouble. Especially if west ham appoint a better manager
We also scored their only goal so they had some luck too?

TBF he's probably knackered though - hopefully he won't be played on Friday.
Anderson’s form had dropped off before Sangare went to the AFCON.

Lots of ability but a bit of a show pony who switches off and costs the team. Exactly what he did for the corner which led to their goal. Not surprised he was hooked, still like him but he can play better than that.
He’s so incredibly weak is my concern.
He is doing things that N’Doye was getting slagged off for but seems a little more impervious to criticism, which I can’t work out.

Pretty sure that since we've been back in the Premier League, last night was the first match we've gone on to win after trailing at half time.
We've won other games from behind but not after being behind at the break.

Not sure he is more effective than Ndoye but at least he takes on the defender and gets me out my seat and there have been precious few of the team doing that this season. Thats why he gets some slack and Mr play it sideways Ndoye gets a load of stick even if output will be broadly similar.

Aye since 1997
Interesting little quirk, goalkeeper error has been the difference in both Wolves and West Ham games which have proven very important

Last night was horrible - BUT - I do think they showed bottle. Neco wasn’t great first 60 truth be told but kept at it and was very instrumental in the latter period. Ando and a clery running on empty and making mistakes but never stopped and MGW was brave to put his head where it hurts and then take the pen.
Special shout for Dominguez though. Look at his celebration - he really cares and I’d love to see his running stats last night - he was immense.
We lack cohesiveness and I really don’t like how big we make the pitch and the distances between our lines when we have possession. However, 3 points by however which was was needed and we got them. Give them a week off now
