Agree, Jock. Derby result more important than ever.
Had a look the on Villa forum out of interest, everyone assumed they would charge into top 6 but it hasn’t happened. Most of their fans have given up on season, blaming injuries and a squad unsuited to how Dean Smith wants to play. A fair number of them already want him out!

I love the optimism on here but many of the teams around us have one or two games in hand. If results go against us we can easily end up around 15 or below. So closer to dropping down the table than crashing into the top 6.
After saying that MON and RK are just getting started and usually one team can make a surge with a run of results to steal a place in top 6. For that to happen we need to go on an extraordinary run and also hope luck on our side (it hasn’t thus far). Be great to kick on with a result against derby, but I remain in the no chance of promotion this season just as I suggested after the Millwall defeat and apart form Milosevic I don’t really think the January signings will make a difference.

Seems strange to me but maybe everyone, bar half a dozen teams, just throw the towel in half way through Feb, let's hope so. I can see M o N and R K and all the players giving everything to the cause, I do think they deserve better than tepid support, seems disrespectful to write them off maybe? The Brian Clough Cup is now a massive game, especially if a few of the games above help us out a bit. I have total confidence we will turn up and give everything and be extremely difficult to beat and M o N may well gamble everything on this game Never felt so alive as a Forest fan, enjoy the ride!

Nottingham forest will require 31 points from the remain 39 available in order to reach a top 6 spot. Best start with a win on monday then.

Well the game(s) in hand for Middlesbrough and Bristol city are against themselves so our only hope is that Bristol leap frog them with a win and we reel middlesbrough and derby in with big wins against them
