I met Rui at the local petrol station shortly after Nuno was sacked. I had a forest training top on and he approached me thinking I was some else - I won’t repeat the conversation but what a great bloke. I will say though he was gutted to leave. No coincidence wolves are looking better after a month he has been there…

I heard that Marinakis and West Ham did a deal to allow Nuno to join West Ham but West Ham, being the tight arses they are, wouldn't buy the back room team out of their contracts too.

Have to say a fit Calvert Lewin looks a very decent player. Leeds playing to his strengths too.

In the summer if anyone had seen the run Calvert-Lewin has been on coming, well done to them.
He scored 3 goals last season and his last “good season” was 20/21. Plus his injury record.
That’s why I wasn’t keen on him.
But then I was really excited about Kalimuendo being our new starting striker. So what do I know?

This is the trouble - everybody is excited about a foreign name..........but then an established PL player down on their form everybody does not want them.
Look at Chris Wood.
The hate for Wood and calling him a Donkey and saying Newcastle had our pants down - then he is the top scorer in a great season.
