The Premier League 2025/26
Calvert-Lewin goal to put Leeds 1-0 up disallowed (thank god!).

Liverpool look so, so bad I really wouldn’t be surprised if Leeds get at least a draw.

Liverpool 0 - 0 Leeds

Awful match.

Leeds celebrating the point, but it was more Liverpool being utterly rubbish than Leeds playing well.

But that point puts them 3 ahead of us with better goal difference.

Liverpool can't play against low block either, they spent far more than we did

I was told Liverpool spent all that money on players suited to counter attacking football!

No way Forest fans would like his football though.

If we were getting 3 points most weeks I don't think they would complain.

It would take months to embed his style and as we’ve seen our fans don’t have the patience to give a manager that sort of time.

As with most fanbases if a manager wins a game he’s the best since Clough, he loses the next they want him sacked.

That's it. We didn't like Cooper's style towards the end. Nuno needed a plan b last season which was true with squad mitigating circumstances and then we don't want Ange ball because, well, it was too drastic a change for our squad.noe we are losing under Dyche it's S**t. Which it is.

It's pretty obvious our problems are structural.

The issue with Ange wasn't that the change was too drastic (although that made it even less likely to work). The issue with Ange is that his tactics were terrible, left us wide open and he didn't know how to coach set pieces. Maybe with the right defensive coaching you could make it work but he was clear at Spurs that it wasn't a priority for him. We looked just like Spurs last year except worse because he also didn't manage to get us scoring goals either. So we just had the open defence and a familiar inability in front of goal.

Explain structural please

Out problems are :

Aina is injured and we dont have a replacement quality right back if we use Neco on left.
Wood is injured and Taiwo is not a decent back up.
Murillo is short in height, not suited to playing against tall people as many teams have in the PL

Put Aina back in RB and Neco LB and then having Jesus and Wood up front and everything changes.

Our squad is still poor - Kali was a terrible buy, Zinchenko is not up to it as a defender, Savona is still learning,  Bakwa is yet to prove he can take on a full back, Ndoye was a terrible buy, Morato is not a starter - the recruitment was poor.

If we can keep Hutch and CHO fit, get Aina back and say get Larson in.............we will improve a lot.

Do we need a new tall CB ? or will Cunha come good ?  Also we have a new LB coming soon, which may allow Neco to cover RB if Aina not match fit.

Things will improve but we need better players - what we have now is not good enough.

People seem to forget Wood was good at defence for set pieces - now with a short Murrilo and short Jesus in there.........we get dominated by crosses into the box, as Neco is also short. We lack height/

Morato was is not up to the standard needed - did you see the Everton defence - how they dealt with everything.
