Don't want to be too critical as we played really well but not making changes earlier cost us that game. We were clearly tiring, city had loads of possession, we needed to use the squad and we didn't. Now the team will be knackered for Tuesday too.

Dyche has to learn to use the squad, his unwillingness to make changes is really frustrating me. I know the bench players are worse but they will be fresher and a game like this was obvious we needed fresh legs given the amount of possession City were having.

Yes, he came with stats of making very few subs but we need to use the squad with our fixture schedule.

Yeah this was always the worry and he's not showing any adjustment so far. In this game it was clear well before they scored that we were tiring.

If he’d changed personnel and they had messed up he’d get blamed for it.

This was a game with a plan; shape, concentration and drilling was more important than individuals.
So, whilst we were definitely tiring and hanging on, I don’t blame Dyche.
If we had a Yates, a Wood, or a fully fit Luiz then he would have had square pegs for square holes.
But the rest are still a drop-off from the starting 11 and Sean knows it.

I was saying it to my family from half time if that helps. The likes of Bakwa aren't going to get better with 5 minute appearances either. Why is Taiwo ahead of Kalimuendo too.

Yes mate; this is why I think we will see 2/3 in and 2/3 out next month as there has to be some question marks over several of the squad.

However, I do think we will see a lot more of Bakwa in future games when we aren’t playing such a tight system.

I actually thought City were good today. They were willing to get into a dog fight and still moved the ball around very well and quickly.

What the f**k is going on with our set pieces? We must have had double figure corners and free kicks near the box. Absolutely shocking for a prem outfit with international players.

Lots of positives today but I'm worried that we don't reach those levels of intensity against teams in the bottom half of the table.

We made lots of good blocks to stop their shots on goal
Sels is now fully fit but Sean picked John over him
Jesus bullied their defenders and looked class

How they survived with eleven men is beyond me
Our set pieces are woeful
Murillo needs to cut down on the attempted spectacular passes

I think you missed the obvious one. O"reilly pushed MGW down. That was as foul and then. not even looked at as the shot came where Morgan was down. I think it was by design. How that was allowed is beyond me.

Dias should have been off. Also at the end, Jesus was knocked down and they finished the game without looking at it.

It's a f*****g farce. We gave them a really good game today. I think we definitely should have deserved better. Fulham was rubbish. This wasn't. Dyche is right, bad decisions all over the place.


I think we were robbed to be honest. Dom and Jesus were great.

Everton next. Let's hope we don't revert to type and play rubbish.
