Steve Parish's employment contract at Crystal Palace used as evidence as CAS stuck with UEFA's decision to remove Crystal Palace from the Europa League.

Parish, who manages the club’s day-to-day operations, is contractually prohibited from approving certain decisions without board approval, of which John Textor was one of the four voting members.

Mr Parish shall not, without the prior written authorisation of Palace Manageco:
- “be entitled to appoint or terminate the appointment of a member of the Senior Management Team or Management, in each case with a Total Remuneration package worth over £100,000 per annum (…)” (Clause 4.2.1);
- “authorise the sale, purchase, loan or transfer of an Player with a Total Remuneration package worth over £100,000 per annum (…)” (Clause 4.2.2);
- “agree any contract or make any changes to the terms and conditions of any Player which contract or changes would be worth over £100,000 per annum (…)” (Clause 4.2.3);
- “incur any capital expenditure within the relevant Financial Year or any other liabilities worth over £100,000 per expense or liability” (Clause 4.2.4);
- “agree to any contract or terminate any contract or series of related contracts worth over £100,000 (whether as cost or revenue) (…) (Clause 4.2.5)”

CAS say: "Whilst Mr Parish may be responsible for the day-to-day management of CPFC, there are certain acts, such as major transfers of players, which need a collective decision from the three directors of Palace Manageco, including Mr Textor. In this respect, Mr Textor took part in decisions pertaining to the transfer of players and the appointment of CPFC’s coach. In view of the above, the Panel considers that Mr Textor, by holding executive positions of governing bodies of CPFC, had the ability to exercise decisive influence

I've just had a scan through the judgement on Cas's website (yes, I know!). I'm no lawyer but the court seems to dismiss pretty much every argument that Palace put forward. There's not only this evidence above in it, but it also mentions that fact that Palace transferred 7 players to Molenbeek (another Textor club). So Parish's claim that they weren't in a multi club is complete bullshit. He might not have liked it but Textor's involvement meant they were. 

EM's transferring his shares to a trust gets a mention but this was dismissed as being irrelevant (as OLY and us didn't qualify for the same competition). No mention of any 'letters sent' or any other of the Parish bollox being spouted at the time.

EM's going to have to start thinking about putting his shares in a blind trust again now. OLY are top of their league and we still have a chance of winning the Europa. It has to be in place by 30th April. The final's not until 20 May.

I think we can dismiss now the idea that we can qualify for Europe through our league placing. There's still the FA cup though which if we win would put us in the position Palace were in if OLY mess up, but I cant see that as the top two in the Greek league get champions league I think.

No optimism Stoj, this is a binary thing. If EM doesnt do things right & by the book and we qualify for the same competition as Oly (as unlikely as that might be) then he's as much an idiot as Parish was. I don't know how long these things take to set up but April's not that far away really. 
Can you image the disappointment if we qualify for the champions leage and then get booted out? Doesn't bear thinking about.
