Did Palace take any steps to prevent such things happening for the game? I doubt it and if they didn't, then I suggest they're going to struggle to defend this charge. I'd say if anything they encouraged it.

Absolutely they did. Perhaps not overtly but the interviews that Parish gave would've certainly acted as encouragement.

It's a huge decision with Boro 4th in the championship but he is from Telford and played 100 times for Wolves so it probably isn't money motivated.
