Well that was what I expected.

Lots of work to be done and some of these players are simply performing nowhere near where they should be, perhaps it wasn’t all down to Ange that we have been so poor….

Callum set the tone by bottling a 50:50 on the half way line and then coming off worse from it.

Probably the worst game I’ve seen from Anderson in some time, we will break him at some point if we keep this up.

I didn’t think MGW was that good against Porto and yet to see him really perform for quite some time.

Having reflected today, I feel like there has been a bit of an overreaction to this game specifically. Did anyone really expect us to match the highest pressing team in the league away after a Thursday night game? We all saw what these games did to Villa and that was Wednesdays, this is what we signed up for.

I would hope Dyche learned that he will need to rotate more after the Europa games (or for the Europa games). We have the squad to do that, we could easily go to Austria and start Dominguez, Yates, McAtee, Bakwa and still win that game. On the plus side at least we've played our hardest Europa games.

On the plus side, despite Bournemouth dominating, we limited them to few chances. A flukey/keeper error from what should've been a goal kick and a long ranger. We created a couple of half chances too, obviously that's what we need to work on. Maybe don't let Hutchinson take corners either...

Agree to a certain extent. Every team in the league is looking at Bournemouth away as a really hard game so for us to go there 3 days after the mental and physical exertions of the Porto game was always going to be a tough task. And lets face it, pretty much every Forest side in the last 20 years has struggled there. But the eye test suggested the team was not applying itself. I can understand why Dyche kept the same team, despite the risk of tiredness. Get the team stable and confident again, then slowly begin to refresh it with the new players as required. It's what I thought Ange should have done, instead of making 4 or 5 changes every game.

But Bournemouth were cruising in the 2nd, lets not pretend they weren't. They wont have many more easy games than they had yesterday.
