Injuries And Suspensions

Savona got better the more touches of the ball he got, the kid looks like he needs games and some love.

Savona has bags of ability, it’s so clear.
Just needs to pick up the pace of the game

Not sure Zinchenko would survive many games when he goes inside to center mid anyway under Dyche :) Definitely an area of concern but hopefully we can survive until Jan when we should have the Brazilian LB and Ola back. Cunha and hopefully Abbott can step up if required. In all seriousness id like to see Zinchenko in his more natural position anyway, has a lot of quality on the ball and I hope he is not out too long.

The fear of a Neco injury is real.

Neco was amazing last night in both full back positions- his 1:1 defending is right up there for me. Only gripe is his attacking on the left - trying to constantly get on his favoured foot. In defensive areas his left is fine - wish he’d trust himself more. But harsh because probably our most consistent player for some time

100%, at least we get a midweek off this week as out of league cup.

I wonder who's next up if the worst happened? Cunha? Murillo? N'Doye maybe?

I wouldn't be too worried about throwing Abbott in at right-back. I don't remember him doing much wrong against Man City in the FA Cup semi-final.

Ndoye plays wing back for Switzerland. Issue is he is right sided, not sure I would play him lwb, wouldn’t be confident swapping Savona over there either so really need Neco to stay fit.
Any word on Zinc? I thought groin strain could be wrong, he looked like he knew he had done something significant unfortunately.

He didn't do much wrong but was hugely protected at the expense of much of our attacking ability. But he will be better for the experience. I have no idea if he's ready yet but have confidence that Dyche will make the best choice. It wont be a throw him in and hope for the best job.

Zinc looked like a muscular injury to me.

I believe that Bakwa has played LWB prior to his arrival at Forest?

Bakwa is out injured. Wood and Zinchenko are touch and go for the weekend.
