Dyche verbally agreed to the job says Sky Sports.

Dyche is going to love Milenkovic and Murillo. And Neco too bombing on (he got McNeil looking superb in that role for Everton).

Im really lookong forward to being solid again.

My head is saying Silva was the best new manager for us but my heart is yearning for the Forest old skool love-in that is undoubtedly going to come. Dyche, Woany and Stoney will get us and will say all the right things to us fans over the next few days and for a short period we'll be pulling as one. I'm looking forward to it a lot.

I know he's no 'stellar signing' of a manager but this guy watches us a lot. He knows what we're good at & what we can't do & in my personal opinion, if he can sort out the defence we have enough talent in attack to almost look after itself. Especially without the added pressure of HAVING to score goals because they know we are shipping at least 3 at the other end. I'm quietly confident.

Having said that, I hope there's an agreement set up with Silva in the summer.

Agree with all of that Wrex. Although if Dyche has a semi successful season its going to be very difficult to dump him in the summer. If that did happen the club would get pelters again.

I think that's all he needs to do and let the attacking players who are all good players to their thing. OK they'll need to have a couple instructions but generally let them rip into teams like Cloughie did with his Forest. Keep the ball on the ground, Pass to a player in a red shirt (preferably a Forest shirt) Keeper catch the ball, Defence defend, Midfield the engine department and strikers score. Simples ain't it .

Get Forest1970 in.

Well on the breaking news on Dyche getting the job (we all suspected it anyways) I thought I would look at the x time line and it's a real mix of needs must and fall from grace for us this season. Personally for me I'm getting more on board about it. Just in the hope he can sort out the defence and keep us in games so the forward thinking players get a chance to do something that might turn a loss into a draw or a draw to 3 vital points.
Lots of talk that he has never had a squad with this much talent as well. I would say we are a squad that has potential but most of the players have only had one good season and so far ain't showing that again so he will have his work cut out to actually coach them so they can move towards that potential. It's a tough job which is already under pressure and he might actually have the balls to make it.

Persuading Silva to join now in mid season is the problem.

He needs to come out and say to EM yes I want the job and I want it now.

But he hasn't done that (yet).

Percy has confirmed its dyche. Its advanced and probably announced today, we didn't want to pay 8m for someone out of contract in the summer thats the issue

Absolutely gutted. What an absolute mess of a season.

Ditto. Complete self-harm. Absolutely gutted.

And I hope the fans give that f@&£ing p&@#k nuno both barrels when the snake ever plays us again.

Why? Because he is English and plays simple football? I would rather have a man thats local and gives a sht supported by to Forest legends. Bring it on.
