This is a runners and riders thread, so we are talking about it.

Ah now it makes sense. Just thought it was a thread for linked managers. My bad

We don't need a whip round we need him to say yes.

I'm not sure it happens, won't be as easy to charm him into position.

I wouldn't leave Fulham for us without a preseason and that is the problem, to many games to fast to get ideas across

Ok, well depends what else he thinks he would be offered. When all the media nonsense is said and done, we’re an attractive proposition. Let’s hope boss man can make it happen.

No, that is incorrect.

Betting Companies manipulate the odds to try an suck in the mug punters; if you have any doubt about that, pay a visit to Betfair who display the amount of money placed on each market, unlike some of the less reputable betting companies.

It won't be Mancini.

Fab says no Mancini, nailed on to be Dyche

Mancini was a very odd candidate. He hasn’t managed in club football since 2018

Forest want Silva but dont think he's keen on moving mid-season & we dont want to pay £10m when he's out of contract next year.

Dyche would probably have been appointed in the break if he'd accept a deal til the summer but he either wants a longer contract or a short term one with a massive survival bonus.

Mancini, Spaletti, Pochettino all been enquired about but very much long shots.

Not ideal & it's gonna be expensive whichever way they choose.

9/4 with Sky Bet.

I stuck a fiver on this morning when he was still 18/1 so fingers crossed.

:Funny:

Sky saying were close to agreeing a deal with dyche. It was always going to be dyche

The article also says Marinakis has the final say? So is it close. Everywhere else states the issue is the contract length and financial protection in case of dismissal.

I think both Dyche and we all know that Marinakis is likely to want Silva in the summer when he’s free (if we don’t get him now which may not be possible under psr.

The negotiation bottleneck was always going to be the severance terms.

Even if Dyche came in, steadied the boat and then won the Europa League, can anyone see him being rewarded with masterminding a Champions League campaign when it would be the perfect package to entice an even better pedigree of manager than Silva? I know which direction I’d bet on EM taking.
