On the other hand, the players have been so poor. We seem entirely reliant on Douglas luiz. But where does this come from.
Personally I think giving the captaincy to mgw was a poor decision. We seem to any leadership on the pitch. We've become so easy to play against Ok so why are we garbage now?
We blew Brentford apart. Same players, different tactics. Palace was a difficult game as shown by Liverpool.
We didn't need Luiz. Anderson is England's best number 6

Since Ange has come in, the only times I remember seeing us play well was when luiz was pulling the strings.
In fact the Brentford and palace games make the current performances even more frustrating and it can't just be aina because he wasn't that impactful in those games

Didn’t want him but 6 games, 23 days and singing sacked in the morning?
Some of the players need to look at themselves too IMO.

Never hated a manager more than this. Absolutely clueless. Needs to go - McLaren / MacLeish are the only 2 I can compare to. Called it two weeks ago. He has absolutely single handedly ripped the heart out of the side. The way he set us up tonight with a wide open back 3 was criminal.

I think we are pretty much on same page. Luiz is obviously a nice footballer. Probably more important for Ange.
I was really looking forward to this season

We need to get the best we can get, not just what is kicking around. In theory, we have a good squad, we have European football. Surely a manager like Marco Silva would see us as a chance to step up.
Ange was a mistake and I believe a decision made with the heart over the brain. But tonight was poor... Set up badly, seemed to leave Murillo on for an age despite looking injured... Then made just one sub which was a like for like. Made no attempt to change the system or formation. Yes the players played poorly but he didn't look to change things... Or if he did, it was not noticeable.

Its the first season in an age where I think we all had expectations of something good building. Every other season in the prem the expectation was survival and in the championship it was mainly hope over expectations.
It's a real shame how it's gone so far.
