Jeez, he’s not been here 2 weeks, and you’re talking about replacing him !

Stolen from Twitter:

Brian Clough won just 1 of his first 13 games in charge as permanent Nottingham Forest manager.

Thank f**k there was no such thing as social media in 1975.

I see no way that Ange is not here for at least the full season.
EM appointed him and will back his decision.

Let’s get to reality here, we have comfortably been the better side in the last 4 games.

Ange can’t exactly do a lot about strikers missing free headers from 5 yards and defenders not tracking runners.

These results have been zero to do with his perceived stylistic approach, this is about players not doing their job.

No way ? What if we find ourselves 6 points adrift at Christmas?
As for players not doing their jobs maybe they’re being asked to play in a system that is confusing, unsuited to them or is leaving too many gaps for them to realistically cover?

I honestly don’t know.

I agree all managers need time and ideally a preseason, but he has to get results to give him that time.
He simply hasn’t got the credit in the bank ( the exact opposite in fact) to give him more time.

Yes agreed.
Injuries to Aina and Murillo have been instrumental imho.

However, whilst it’s too early to judge, I do wonder if too much watching paint dry under Nuno ball has led to romantic dreams clouding judgement.

It’s painful but I accept it was probably time for the next step up the managerial ladder, as it was when cooper left for Nuno.

Yet I can’t help feeling we should have pushed the boat out for a certain guy at Crystal Palace.
Even with a slow start, Glasner would have the immediate respect needed from the fans, projecting stability and receiving more patience to build his team.

Sniffer, I seemed to recall when issues with Nuno first hit the headlines as he had a problem with Forest looking at potential alternatives for head coach which was broken by an Italian mate? on his social media. You put it out on the forum that we are ALWAYS on the look out for potential replacements and that it would not be right of the club not to cover all bases, so all I assumed is that this continues even though we have appointed Ange, correct?

We haven't been comfortably the better team though. Against Swansea and Betis (impressively) I would agree but the two PL games I wouldn't say we were comfortably the better team.

I know we missed a few chances but so did Sunderland and Burnley, statistically we only narrowly edged both games on xG.

I get we're already in the two camps forming, one side wants to back the manager regardless, the other side has already lost faith with the manager after a month. We probably need to be somewhere in between.

Betis game showed what we can do, Sunderland and Burnley (and Swansea) showed what we need to worry about.

Not usually one for negativity but getting frustrated at reasonable and rational commenters getting told they're acting like they're on twitter just because they're frustrated and legitimately worried about where this season is going.

Don't think I said that.

Think I said that we are always monitoring our coaches performance or something like that.

Anyway Ange will be given time so you better get used to it.
