Could be 18th tomorrow.
Absolutely 100% unacceptable.
In March/April maybe, right now worrying but it happens. I feel you are unnecessarily dramatising to suit your anti Ange agenda.

Also, I do agree with the sentiment we overachieved last year and this year we've regressed back to the mean. We were found out towards the end of the year and I think we needed the new signings and ideally to change to a more controlled style. Just wish Nuno had just left in the summer, perhaps we could've landed a better option or if not at least Ange would've had more time to get his ideas across.

In March/April maybe, right now worrying but it happens. I feel you are unnecessarily dramatising to suit your anti Ange agenda. I’m not anti Ange in the sense I think it’s his fault, it isn’t.
But it is anti Ange in that he should have never been appointed. Literally no one else in the Prem is making that appointment.
As for dramatising the situation, you fooking right I am. This isn’t a squad that’s been assembled to fight a relegation battle, it’s completely unsuited for it.
Think Anderson will want to stick around for a relegation battle come Jan? Think he will be the only one?
For what it’s worth I’m not sure I would sack him, because I don’t know who would replace him.
Mourinho chance has gone because our excellent recruitment committee thought he wasn’t a good fit but that perennial loser of prem matches Ange was.
I’m not having a go at you mate
But I’m beyond angry at the club for this situation that they have created.

OK maybe not something everybody would agree with but its a well reasoned post. Im actually in agreement with you about Anderson in January too, reckon we will get an offer in for sure.
As for the club’s fault, it takes 2 to make an argument but most of my anger is directed at Nuno.
Im backing Ange because he is here but my concern is the sheer nunber of people who are comparing the situation to Maclaren/Mcleish. I want it to work but something feels off.
Who else? We are a way off hopefully but for me Dyche in a heartbeat.

Here is where I respectfully disagree mate but I appreciate neither of us can prove we are right.
Whilst I don’t like what Nuno did, I think he was pushed into it and the majority of the blame and the situation that caused Nuno to do what he did, lies with the people in control at the club.
They have started and caused this massive act of self destruction and largely for me ,they alone.
I hope they are happy.
As for Dyche?
Not sure.
Both Burnley and Everton thought he was going to get them relegated.

We are also playing and competing in Europe.
Give your heads a wobble, some have been spoilt.
I agree with this. I saw a couple of comments on Facebook (not the best place for reasoned debate I know) after Burnley saying we should ditch Ange and 'get Silva or Iraola' is if they'd both be falling over themselves to leave their jobs and join us.
And if they got off to a bad start they would want them out.
Panic on the streets of London

The Nuno thing, we aren’t poles apart, something happened behind the scenes to make him want out. As I said it takes 2 to have an argument. Was it EM on the pitch, Edu, not getting Traore or for me more likely something else we don’t know. But I reckon he made his mind up he was going early in the summer.
Where I disagree with you is that then Nuno behaved like a childish twat to get his way and therefore he gets most of the blame. We may never again have the opportunity that we have this season and his selfish spitefulness has made now made it incredibly hard to progress.
Thats why my sympathy is with Ange and my anger squarely at Nuno.

If it was the on the pitch thing, it also pre dates him signing a new contract.
One thing I saw suggested is that he saw Edu coming in as a threat to his close nit team, but again we've known Edu was coming for a long time, as he would have also. Again, signed a new contract just before Edu was confirmed.

Nuno knew Edu was coming in to be his boss before he signed the contract

EM was looking at the manager market and Nuno got wind. I’d be pissed off too. He said he knows this happen. Ultimately happened when he came to replace coops and was going on when he replaced potter. We’re scrambling now. Normally hate international breaks but it can’t come soon enough.

The international break will be good but how many will he have to actually work with?

I wonder if Edu and EM are currently looking at possible alternatives should they have to replace Ange in the not to distance future?
