Thought the same about late change to Zinchenko and Savona.

How our centre backs adapt worries me the most, particularly Milenkovic I don’t think is suited at all. Who in the current squad is sprinting back from the half way line when we have pushed up then lose possession? Morato? Boly? I dont think Sels will be comfortable with it either.

Some forwards may like it, particularly some of the incomings. Not sure it suits MGWs quick flicks to set up a counter attack. Lets see, looking forward to some 5-4 wins then.

I think he may be more pragmatic- like the Europa campaign.

I wonder if we might try Abbott at right-back at all - maybe in the Swansea match.

He didn't do much wrong against Man City in the FA Cup last season when played there.

Premier League squad confirmed. No Aina as expected so Awoniyi named instead. Other than that no surprises.

Let's hope Taiwo gets the chance to prove himself. He is usually pretty effective against Arsenal.

I would be amazed if Taiwo is on the bench tomorrow.

Was the conditional obligation to buy Luiz ever disclosed? Wondering if it’s just based on number of league matches it makes sense not to use him for 10 minutes, keeps our options open on him.

15 game obligation I think? Around that figure anyway.
Agree there no point in wasting an appearance at 88 minutes, need to find out whether he wants it here or not, the way to find out is by starting him. Sure Ange will make up his mind very quickly.

Neither managed has selected him. Got to presume he's just not fit enough. You'd imagine he'll start vs Swansea
