I watched a YouTube video by some clever sod which explained the way Ange gets his teams to play.
It was a bit drawn out, but by the end, I was looking forward to the new era.
I think we have the players to cope with his style; the only concern highlighted in the video was how Milo would cope with a high press because of his lack of pace.

But then again, I didn’t want Nuno to behave the way he did and (from where I’m sat, which could be totally wrong), put this entire season at risk because of his mardy.

But it’s Ange we’ve got, so I’ll support him 100%. And I’ve warmed to him already.

As long as we don’t play that crazy high line and he’s utilises this amazing squad we have as best we can, I think it’s going to be a fun ride.

And I’d hope if Ange sees a player stink the place up, no matter who they are, he’ll sub them before it costs us the match.

1. He is too wedded to an approach that stunk out the joint last season. We got to where we are by playing to the strengths of players we had, not seeking to adapt players to fit into a system that doesn't work. That said, he has been handicapped by the timing of his appointment. No pre-season and huge disruption to the squad due to a departing manager and lots of new signings needing to be integrated into the squad. Team spirit looks a shell of last season and that is a big problem and has been since brentford. That is not anges fault but he's got to sort it out.

On the other hand we should not have lost tonight. We should have been out of sight against Betis and Swansea. We had a few good chances to win against Burnley. In a parallel universe we have 6 points, are in the next round of the league cup and have a statement win against Betis in Europe. Poor finishing, some good goalkeeping and some individual mistakes have cost us dearly (looking at you zinchenko). Their goal tonight was off the back of some questionable refereeing.

2) well he needs a win and quickly, both in Europe and the league. If we don't win before the international break then I wonder whether Marinakis' can stomach a relegation battle after all that spending.

1. I think both are true at the same time. He has had a bit of bad luck but that happens everywhere ,but his style of football is completely naive for the Prem. It’s far too an easy too manage against.

2. He should be gone tonight, but I fear in sacking him some powerful people would have to admit how wrong they were and therefore he may overstay his welcome.
