The Championship
Not a single point to show for the sheep or blunts after two games each. Glorious.

Seems like we weren’t focussed on other results yesterday

What's happened to Sheffield United?

Wonder if we can cancel bindons loan…

There seems to have been a real shift in the cost of players being signed by Championship clubs this window. Several deals over £10m and loads between £5m - £10m.

Sheffield United lost again. Saw someone on Twitter say that Sunderland have done to them what we did to Huddersfield.

Derby concede a 90+13 minute penalty which is scored to go from winning to a draw

Championship (and Leagues One and Two) considering expanding playoffs to include 7th and 8th places too like in Football Conference. Suggestion is that:

- 5th plays 8th and 6th plays 7th in one-off matches with better-placed team at home
- Winners play 3rd and 4th over two legs, with (presumably) the lowest qualifying seed playing 3rd place

As long as they keep the two legged semi its a good idea. In the Conference the higher placed teams regularly lose the one match shootouts in the semi final, home advantage isn't as much of an advantage as having two matches against a weaker team

In 2 of the last 3 seasons its been Millwall in 8th place. Last season they finished 24 points behind Sheffield Utd. Whilst I accept it would have been good for them to potentially go up, a team that far behind is realistically going to get destroyed in the PL, it’s unlikely even the type of 22 player rebuild we did would save them.
