Looking at the numbers I can kinda get why Hutchinson didn't make it, specially if we play three at the back in any matches. Jesus, McAtee and Kalimuendo can all play wide too. Leaving Boly out makes central defence look a bit light. Dominguez is the one it would've made more sense to leave out but it's done now.

Can’t see the reason for having Dominguez at all

Dominguez does seem like the strange one but these are the decisions that have to be made when you have 1 and a half teams full of starters.

Hopefully OH is being managed properly and will get plenty of minutes although I suspect these types of issues will arise throughout the season.

6 forwards does seem enough and someone pointed out there's European experience in there.

That is the baffling one. Zinchenko has great experience in Europe. But he might start a lot more Prem games now. Dominguez must be not far away now. Maybe back in the squad for the Porto game.

No Zinchenko??? And whether we paid too much for him or not, leaving our record signing at home is just odd.

Plus taking Dominguez? Morato?

There must have been a bunch of them behind the scenes that came up with the list, but it don’t get it.

There's no way Nuno would've been able to just make those decisions unilaterally. This must've been agreed by all involved, implies that Nuno is being backed though if nothing else you'd think.
