Im still hugely disappointed at the 19 Premier League clubs including Forest who didn’t back the Wolves proposal to scrap VAR. Its a ridiculous and unworkable system that ruins the game.
People will say its fine it just needs to be implemented competently, I disagree it adds another layer of subjectivity, watching endless slowed down replays you can always find something, the position at which the camera angle is taken from (the pen claim we didn’t get vs Brentford, camera 100m away) or where they view the offside angle, when the ball was kicked etc etc. Games are effectively re referreed and results are changed. One persons error (the ref) is at least consistent for both teams, you add in 5 other officials you multiply the incompetence.
Its rubbish on TV, its catastrophic in the stadium.

Yes I know Im wasting my breath. Also realise if we scrap it in this country it puts us at a disadvantage in European and International games. Doesnt alter the fact its a shit system that anyone who understands what the game is about detests.
