Newcastle were very physical but came off the worse for it!

Lets hope they do not come in with a big bid for Anderson.

Anderson is nothing like those two players.

We've made one already. Plus several smaller ones. We don't need to make one.

Absolutely no chance Anderson leaves this season.

We're already doing that with the manager situation.

If we can get the managerial situation resolved it feels like there's a real opportunity this season. Only three teams have won both of their opening matches (could've been four but for the stupid woodwork).

Liverpool look great going forward but lack depth there and are shaky at the back. Tottenham have started well but are always prone to ballsing things up. Arsenal look solid at the back but have they got the depth to deal with injuries this season they lacked last time round? Man City started well against Wolves but were toothless against Spurs.

Villa and Newcastle both look weaker than last season. Chelsea hammered West Ham but didn't beat Palace at home. Man U will probably be better but ten places better? And they've not looked amazing so far.

The chase for European places could be as open as last season if not more so.

Yeah I agree with you there. I didn't think we were going to be in this position of potential a month ago but we are now minus the managerial situation.

Obviously Europe is going to be a challenge but we have a squad to rotate now (nearly).

It feels like some clubs around our level last season or just above are really stagnated.

Villa definitely look worse, Newcastle looked good last night, missing a CF but that will get sorted one way or another. They have clearly got better depth now though with Elanga and Ramsey, I think they will be good. Chelsea look slightly better maybe but will have CL to deal with and have the CWC in their legs which will impact end of season. Spurs clearly look better but do also have CL and a pretty small squad right now. Agree on Man Utd, I'm sure they'll improve with that squad and no Europe, might not happen until Amorim is gone though.

Lets hope CL goes down to 5 places this year again.
