If we can get him he would be the one for me over everybody if Nuno has to go.

Glasner probably more achieveable

Yes possibly.

I would happily take De Zerbi, Conceicao, Spalletti, Glasner, Iraola, Mourinho, Carsley but I would happily keep Nuno too.

Not Silva?

And Silva yes.

I forgot him!

De Zerbi Yes please, quite a different style of play though.
Conceicao Interesting, language barrier main problem
Silva the obvious choice if an agreement can be made with Fulham
Iraola, no chance without a massive pay off and probably isn’t interested
Glasner, don’t think he would take it
Mourhino, would be fun but happy at Fenerbahce
Carsley, I like him but don’t think he would last with EM
Spalletti 66 years old and never managed outside Italy. No.
Ange. Please no!

This is just an opinion but I don't think it will be Ange.

Yes EM and Ange are good mates but there lies the problem

At some stage EM will have to sack him or Ange will leave and then they would fall out.

Put it another way you don't get into bed with your good mates

I have a gut feeling it’ll be Conceição based on no real evidence. Could even be someone like Bo Svennson, though his stock has fallen after being at Union Berlin. Corberan gets linked to every single vacancy in the UK but he has a job now and was previously sacked by Oly.

Whoever it is will be a “bigger” name than Nuno I feel.

Names don't get much bigger than mourinho but if there are concerns over style of play, would his pragmatic approach be one they want. Feel the game has moved on but perhaps a chance to follow in the footsteps of Clough might be tempting to him.

Personally prefer a de zerbi, glasner or Silva? Ange has a lot of bad press due to last season but his record before that was pretty good.

So Nuno isn’t happy being overruled on transfers by Edu and having to report into him but Mourinho would be? Have I slipped into an alternative reality?

Depends if that is what he walks into with eyes wide open. The Edu situation is new for Nuno and was not applicable when he joined.

I personally can't see mourinho doing that though - so I take your point.

If it’s pure personality then maybe a different ‘bigger name’ coach will accept it. If it’s tangible things like opinion being suppressed, then so-called bigger names not just Jose won’t like the situation either. So find a way that works with the current proven guy and bury the hatchet seems the best bet. The players like Nuno, right?

How boring would it be if they chose Silva? Dull as dish water.

Jose every time and maybe the Bournemouth manager

Certain elements of the media are trying to push that its a

Nuno+JM against Edu+KJ

The battle of the 2 super agents..................which is why some are making stories that Edu stopped Traore as Traore is a JM client.......and that upset Nuno.  Of course Omari Hutchinson and Douglas Luiz are with KJ........and we signed them.

I still think its a storm in a tea cup being amplified to take away the headlines before the Palace match, and Nuno is going nowhere..................so no need for a new manager.

Maybe mgw doesn't and this whole thing was to keep mgw happy by manufacturing tension between edu and Nuno in order for Nuno to resign and get in a manager who mgw likes. #conspiracytheories

Ange Postecoglou is keen to return to the Premier League and has held informal talks with Evangelos Marinakis in case Nuno Espirito Santo departs.
