The Premier League 2025/26
Might be more interesting at the bottom this season then. Could be a few clubs dragged into it.

Just seen that our old mate Gary Neville chose us as his prediction for being a surprise European contender this season.

Nice of him to say. Presumably he wants his accreditation back.

Talk from Ben Jacobs that Spurs have reached agreement to buy Eze.

Interesting stat and a real departure from how we played last season. I wonder if this will be the model for the season - press more in the 'should win' matches but play more like last season in the ones against the more dangerous teams:

99 – Only Nottingham Forest (118) applied more high-intensity pressures in the final third on MD1 of the 2025-26 Premier League season than Bournemouth’s 99 against Liverpool. Industrious.

The MGW situation wasn’t ideal but EM handled it brilliantly and the player himself acted totally professionally and no harm was done.

Compare to Isak and Wissa, what a mess having to release a media statement about your own player. Reckon there is a real chance neither player gets a move. Love to know what the atmosphere is like if they have to stay, seem to remember some of our ex players saying with the PVH situation it was frosty at best.

I've not read the article but Martin Samuels has written something about Palace today saying their ownership should be more like Marinakis when it comes to keeping their players. They'll love that.

The last few days of the transfer window could be nuts. Isak, Wissa, Eze and Guehi still to move. Loads of players needing to be shifted out of various clubs before they can buy more. The likes of West Ham, Fulham, Brentford and Wolves all desperate to bring in more reinforcements.

Hopefully we'll have everything pretty-much done before the final day and any more incomings would just be a bonus.

We are so so lucky to have EM.
Any club would absolutely love him as this big boss.
Doesn’t suffer fools, stands up to the establishment, and you just know he is trying to break up the top 6

Spend our time focused on the all important, backup keeper slot.

To be fair they probably said the same about us and Hutchinson.
I fully expect Omari to be another like Anderson who in a years time we will think we got a bargain by the way.
