20 league goals for the season for Chris Wood. What a magnificent achievement.

Such a shame this great personal achievement is overshadowed by the failure of the team.

Come on Pap. There's plenty of other threads to go on about that. Leave this one for praising Wood, please.

I felt sorry for him today, he missed a couple of good chances and could easily have had a hat trick but he’s had to carry way too much of the workload this season.

Only two players have scored 30 non-penalty goals in the Premier League since Nuno Espirito Santo's first game in charge of Nottingham Forest on the 23rd December 2023.

Chris Wood and Mohamed Salah

I don't mind talking like my 9 year old self many decades later but Chris Wood is my favourite Forest player of all time and in my opinion our best striker ever.

He just goes about his business like a sound guy.

I think Wood's brace yesterday takes him to 91 Premier League goals. Really hope he can break that 100 this season.

He’s like a fine Wine, seems to get better.

Second goal was brilliant. As soon as he saw their defender's pass was going to be intercepted he was off. Of course the pass was brilliant but it needed the run or it didn't happen.

If we can rest him a bit this season there's no reason he can't do the same again next season. Obviously a long way to go but this competition for Wood is actually very helpful. Guy is 33 so he needs looking after.

With the options we now have he could end up being even better!
