It's one for pub quizzes "Who was the last Forest player to score 20 league goals in a season?"

Johnno?

Or...

...was it Harewood!  (I remember DJ breaking his leg and that 'did' for Paul Hart along with the dismantling of the team he'd built...due to his 'new' budget.  Shame, with a player or two we could have auto'd that year.)

SA.

No, Tyler Walker for Mansfield, he is the last Forest player to score 20 league goals in a season, sadly just not for us.

He hasn’t scored 20 LEAGUE goals yet this season. He has 16 and I am sure he will get there, but just not yet

In all honesty...

I think we bought him to stop him from joining AEK Athens or PAOK.

Don’t take it personally Jock, we all like to think we’ve signed the next Harry Kane, only to realise a couple of months down the line we’ve signed the next Ishmael Miller!!!

I believe you are right, but we shouldn't have done & especially not at that price

That is annoying.

Our owners signing players to stop them from joining a rival of Oympiakos.

These kind of things need to stop.

From that season onwards it's expected that clubs will be limited to loaning out a maximum of 8 players at any given time, where as at present we have 14 players loaned out - Tyler Walker, Apostolos Vellios, Joe Worrall, Jordan Wright, Panagiotis Tachtsidis, Gboly Ariyibi, Jordan Smith, Adam Crookes, Jorge Grant, Alex Iacovitti, Zach Clough, Jason Cummings, Toby Edser & Virgil Gomis.

Last I heard the limit was potentially not going to be on home grown players sadly. Which would make the rule fairly pointless

It's crazy that we're having to use the words "expected" & "potentially" on something that has been agreed, & where therefore there should be definitive answers*, but I agree, if that is the way they've gone then that would dilute the new rules considerably.

*I guess they have to run it by lawyers & such first, to check they're not breaching some restriction of trade law, or something, before it's all fully published.

Information about it is fairly sparse but apparently it’s the premier league kicking up a fuss and saying no. Sounds like it’ll have little impact but maybe fifa will staying strong. They’d might dilute it a bit and say under 20 or something. Would still be better than now

Funny how nobody mentions it when he gets praised but when he has a poor game everybody is all over it like a rash.
