Our Disciplinary Record

It is. Ill discipline. Benaloune's today though exempt (his red not yellow) as it was instinctive - The ball would have hit him in the chest but arms came up - not a voluntary action. However - he is a red card waiting to happen.

It is not about why we are not top of the league or why we are not higher up the table.

That is a completely different thing.

No matter where we are in the league, top, bottom or middle our disciplinary record is a disgrace.

Brian Clough would be spinning in his grave at our disciplinary record this season.

In that regard, the current season is unworthy of his memory.

It is disgraceful.  And it has cost us the very points that would see us past the current 'crisis' and into the top 6.

Duncan's right to 'call this out.'

It's ironic that I caught a bit of Reservoir Dogs with Paul Hart.

Talking about the Anderlecht 'Gate.'

That could have been another European Cup for a team that were more than worthy of a 3rd.

Diving. Arguing with refs. Shirt pulling. It's the same thing. Cheating.

Clough's sides played the game firm but fair. Forest haven't had discipline all season. So anybody who can't see why they haven't been consistent all season...must be missing the obvious.

It's like a 'RED card' staring you in the face.

This 'culture' from this season will take a while to clean up.

Luckily we have a two by four called MoN and Keane to sort our current lot out.

Patience. Discipline.

That applies to the current leadership off the pitch, it applies to the management team, THE PLAYERS & the Fans.

Agree with the above.

Our disciplinary record is very very poor and very very disappointing.

It is not something that I want to see Nottingham Forest associated with.

It just means we are not as good as hiding the dark arts as other teams.

There’s nothing wrong with aggression and physicality, but it’s all about doing it in the right manner.

Our disciplinary record is shocking and embarrassing.

  Agreed.

Brian Clough teams channelled aggression in the right way.  The Forest Way.

The team is starting to look much more disciplined now under MON and Keano.

The discipline of the team under Karanka was shocking at times.

Good to hear that, Duncan.

There is no doubt in my mind that along with some ridiculous mistakes made by some match officials the other thing that has let us down big time this season has been our discipline. I think Martin and Roy are on the case though and there are signs that it is already improving.

With Refs adding on excessive time, buying handball goals and swan dives...

...we've lost out on 6 points.

That puts is in the play offs.
