I agree. I tweeted the same or posted that idea on here when it all first came out.

Would shut everyone up. I know some people don’t care that the press are completely against us, but I don’t like it.

I’m sure they won’t release the letter, or issue a statement, but if indeed we did only ask for clarification, it would shut up a lot of people that are absolutely tearing us apart right now.

I can't imagine Marinakis gives a rat's ass what some reporters and Twitter clowns think of Forest.

He clearly doesn’t.

And it’s club. He can do what he wants.

But unless it’s from the Forest side of things, or a Forest-leaning journo, everything is anti-Forest.

I’m proud we’re standing up for ourselves and not being pushed around.

I’m saying, I’d prefer if it wasn’t all so negative about us.

I would too. But I also don't want us to just roll over for everyone. And clearly EM doesn't either!

I dunno. I've read/watched a few things over the weekend that exposes the weakness of Palace's position. The generic e-mail address argument has pretty much been de-bunked, and there's beginning to be information flow about a significant amount of notice UEFA gave to clubs re new multi-club arrangements.

There's been noise on social medial but a lot of it has been generated by Palace, through their selected stooges in the media. Now the main-stream media are picking it apart, the entire Palace position seems to be slowly falling apart.

Unless of course it digs a deeper hole for the club, leave as is!

Definitely leave it as it is. We haven't made any unnecessary noise regarding this, it's not like we didn't accept our league position.

But doing so would suggest that we're somehow defending a negative position. I'm not sure the Big Man thinks like that.

It would simply take the wind out of any criticism straight away.

Unless we have something to hide….

I bet EM put them on notice that he would be legally challenging any favourable decision Palace might be awarded. Its the way he rolls.

Genuine question and Im not deliberately being negative.

If Palace do lose their appeal is there actually anything in the rules that states another club from the same country (ie Forest) can be admitted to take their place? Or are we all assuming something that might not happen?

It's in the rules. It's subject to us meeting whatever criteria UEFA need (which I presume we'd need to for the Conference League anyway) but it's definitely in the rules.
