Watched England v Germany u21 as thought it would be a decent game. I find it hard to watch these England teams at time following the 'PEP'ification of football. England have an excellent team with lots of top flight experience but couldnt break a stoic germany down who baiscally did a Forest to them.

However England played without a recognised striker, in this fluid false 9 bollocks. Rowe, once linked with Forest was poor whilst the others got in each others' way a bit. Hutchison was the pick of the forward line as appears he can use either foot but theres nothing more depressing than an overlapping full-back hitting the by line then passing backwards. Without Delap it appears England only have Lisa's son as a recognised striker.

Spain next, who are also missing world Club Cup players...
