The Times reporting Textor has to sell his shares. Textor wants £170m for 43% of his shares. That would mean Palace are worth £400m as a whole, there is no way they are worth that.

Agreed.

They won the FA Cup fair and square on the field and deserve their place in the Europa.

There is too much of the off field politics affecting teams statuses, which isnt fair on the players or the fans.

Id say they are. Transfermarkt have their squad cost value at 448m euros.

The trouble will be that the shares only come with 25% voting rights. Thats not very appealing.

I know the blind trust doesn't matter anymore but there was talk about Forest not meeting a deadline of 1st March, There is a proof on Companies House that Forest did meet it.
Pittville One Limited - Forest Blind Trust was formed on the 20th February.
The Directors were appointed on the 26th February.
The Termination of appointments for Dugher, Forster, Owen - Forest Directors were signed on the 1st March.
They only updated Forest's companies house on the 29th April. But the blind trust was already set before the 1st March deadline.

The rules are clear

It’s of our own making that we are in the conference league and not the champions league; nor do I want to see palace fans punished. 

But this is exactly why there should be action taken against Palace.
To muddy the waters about not having a controlling share or debating the level of influence blah de blah is immaterial to the wording of the rules. 

There has been a breach and there should be punishment. This is fundamental to the integrity of the competition.
