Current Players Thread
Re Sangare, if we'd bought him for a modest fee, say £15m, then I'm sure the sentiment about him wouldn't be there at all now. Most fans will have written off him as a dud. But because he cost a whopping £35m fans are still holding out for him and hoping he turns into the superstar we assumed we'd signed. The beginnning of next season is crucial for him. Fail to impact for any reason, after he's had a full pre-season, and he's done at Forest.

I think you make a good point Papp but there's also the fact that we won't get a decent return for him because of the initial fee and we are having to strengthen the area anyway.

It's still an area id like to strengthen for sure.

Wassy made the best point that during his slightly improved form it had no impact on the team.

In my eyes he is still a squad player and we need a 6 but not worth selling at a massive loss. If Lyon are interested we can let him go for 40.

Thought Sangare did make an impact, we did look better and more controlled with him. We completely lost the plot once he went off both vs Leicester and West Ham. Looked worse when he went off vs Chelsea too.

Yes actually that is right it was when Yates came on we conceded in both of them wasn't it.

Yeah that is a fair point.

All the best Toff, never the best LB in the club’s history but his attitude and determination to the cause was faultless and his work off the pitch is a true example to some others who probably earn considerably more than him.

Great news!

Hopefully CHO to follow and, unless he’s off, MGW.
