Lack of signings in January as requested by Nuno wanting a smaller, tighter squad has come back to bite us in the bum, you reap what you sow! He has been unable to change a game with lack of players he trusted within the existing squad, don't think the Big Man will be very pleased with the final position we have found ourselves in the table tonight!

That has left me totally deflated. Our home form has fallen off a cliff. It's such a shite consolation prize when champions league was ther on a plate.

It's been a great season - just a shame it didn't finish at the start of April.

Chelsea didn't deserve to win but neither did we. We were so toothless in the second half. No urgency. Still it could be worse you could be a Villa fan to see that Morgan Rogers goal disallowed which was unbelievable.

We had it in our hands and completely collapsed. Very very disappointing. I am off to mow the lawn... Huge summer ahead. At least we will get to see Zach Abbott in the conference league.

I think we are ALL disappointed to some extent but that's only because of where we were for so long and what could have been and was so close to getting into the CL. Would we have felt differently if we had been 15th all season and had a storming last 10 games and clawed our way up the table and won today to get 7th. There is always next season after all and if we do well in the conference league im sure the city ground will be full despite the opposition.

It was just one step too far for us.

But to go into the last match still having a chance of a CL place was absolutely brilliant.

So proud of everyone involved.
