Injuries And Suspensions
Just checked 'Essential Information for Players' on the FA website. It says the 2 yellows rule is up to and inclusive of the quarter finals, so not good for our boys.

It also says that players shouldn't touch pyrotechnics if they are thrown on the field. It points out that 'In recent seasons, there have been several examples of players being charged by The FA for celebrating with pyrotechnic devices'. Elanga may well have a charge coming his way. He was holding a red smoke bomb celebrating at the end. Hope he's not banned too!

Richarlison got banned recently but he chucked it in the stand, Elanga didn't. He will probably get a warning not to do it again.

Harvey Elliott did it and got a letter from the FA.
But undoubtedly they will do a badge check and both Elanga and Aina are banned from both semi and final.

Note. If a greek/polish/turkish team let off a million flares and smoke bombs it will be described in the media as a “fantastic atmosphere” Forest will get yet another fine for their supporters throwing pyro on the pitch.

I’m pretty Steve Cook and Johnson held one in the promotion season, no action.

MGW to be assessed after that colission with the post. That's why he was taken off apparently.

Ran half the pitch and slid on it though!

I do miss the good old pyro days of the promotion season. No pyro no party.

Hopefully Elanga will just get a warning or fine.

Woody 'improving day by day.' Has a big contusion (bruise).

Rest of the team 'recovering well.'

Not giving a lot away was Nuno.

Agreed, sounds like bench tomorrow to me. Would be a big bonus.

Ola will have a scan. Wood is getting better every day. CHO should be back for Villa after a personal matter.
