Brighton - Nottingham Forest
Can’t believe Hurzeler had the cheek to say this
On Nottingham Forest's set-up making it difficult for his side: "They sit in a low block and wait for transitional moments - that is their game. It is the game we expected because they never do anything else. They are successful like this and it is tough to play against them. We were unable to find solutions against them, especially in the first half. We were not on our highest level today.

Not a fair assessment of today. Possession was very even first half and but for the header that Sels saved we created the better chances.

We deffo played low block when we beat them 7-0…

There was a stat when we were in control in the first half that over a period of the last 5 mins we’d had 88% possession or something

Methinks he is feeling a little sore and a tad bit bitter.

But ultimately even if what he was saying was true... why do so many managers, pundits etc see it as a crime for a team to play to their strengths

Well done lads, gave it everything as usual.

Still seething about that penalty decision. I could understand it not being given in real time but then I would have expected it to be given on review if anything. To say there was clear evidence to overrule was baffling but then apparently it was Tierney on VAR.

So how come Murillo standing on the Fulham’s players ankle a penno bit a player wiping out another player, getting none of the ball not? Also as others have said what error did banks make? Cus there was contact, mitoma should have got his arm out of the way!

I’d like to see banks report, if he fills it out truthfully, as to what his reasonings were for rewarding the penno and what about the footage made him change his mind

I don’t think VAR gets updates in the cup on twitter like they do in the league

Also!! If a keeper can concede a penalty with a trailing arm, whether the oppo player may seem to have left a leg in or not, then why can’t a defender?

I think Nuno surprised Hurzeler. He didn’t expect us to step up on them for majority of the 90. The only time they were on top was the last 10 mins of extra time.

Nuno has definately schooled Hurzeler this season.
