We having had no European football will be in pot 4 whether we finish 2nd-5th

Now it the holders of the ucl and europa league also automatically get into the league phase so there clild be extra places

OK thats brilliant assuming you’re correct. Theres our incentive for sure and its in our hands. 10 games to get this over the line, unbelievable stuff.

Only 6 points clear of 8th, top 4/5 is far from done.

I sense there will be a lot of tension remaining

Well I’m pretty happy we don’t have to play many teams around us anymore. It is in our hands.

Yes we are very well placed. It will be disappointing if we end up with no Europe from here.

I still see our last game at home to Chelsea being winner takes all.

Just imagine the atmosphere.

We will see. It would be nice if we could get just 2 more points then Chelsea before the last game.

I'm hoping it's all wrapped up in our favour by then. Be nice to take to the field at home with everything already decided.

Slightly daft article in The Athletic today about how, in a convoluted scenario, 11th place could qualify for Europe next season. It'd need this set of outcomes:

1: Liverpool - UCL as Premier League winners
2: Arsenal - UCL via the Premier League
3: Nottingham Forest - UCL via the Premier League
4: Manchester City - UCL via the Premier League
5: Newcastle United - UCL via Premier League coefficient
6: Brighton - Europa League via Premier League (or FA Cup winners)
7: Bournemouth - Europa League via Premier League (or FA Cup winners)
8: Chelsea - Europa League as Conference League winners
9: Aston Villa - UCL as UCL winners
10: Tottenham - UCL as Europa League winners
11: Conference League

Don't think there is even a slightest chance of that happening ^^

Me neither. All due respect to Villa but I can't see them winning the Champions League. Nor Spurs (or Man U for that matter) winning the Europa.

As a supporter of the juniors from Ligue One, I strongly hope that we will be in the UCL, there is no option not to - only what next?

Liverpool out on penalties vs. PSG.

Hopefully they'll take their frustration out on Newcastle on Sunday. And yes I know it's not a league match.
