Dreaming yes. We are always dreaming. Still tight at the top and 10 games to go but it is a special season and it is now at the point if we don't get European football it would feel disappointing.
It doesn't feel like we are lucky to be there, we deserve to be there.

Yesterday confirmed it to me. We're bang in the mix and anything less now will be a failure on thr club's part.

We've put ourselves in the position now. Still a long way to go though. The pack are still close, we have to now do what we DID do in the first half of the season and beat the bottom half teams again.
Definitely dreaming though!

TBF of the ten teams we have left to play we beat nine of them in the first half of the season, the exception being the draw against Chelsea.
Apart from the home draw against Wolves we've been phenomenal vs. the bottom-half teams.

I did wonder.
If - and it's a massive one - we repeated the form from the first half of the season we'd end up on 79 points and possibly 2nd. I'd love it but a few teams have improved (Palace, Everton and Spurs most notably) so it doesn't feel realistic.

Yes I know what you mean Reds73.
Perhaps I should have said are our dreams of CL football now becoming a reality.

I'm not going to say that until it's a mathematical certainty.

Just a reminder of the games those from 4th to 10th have to play in the 10 still
Forest: Villa, Chelsea (2)
Man City: Brighton, Villa, Bournemouth, Fulham (4)
Chelsea: Arsenal, Fulham, Liverpool, Newcastle, Forest (5)
Brighton: Man City, Villa, Newcastle, Liverpool (4)
Villa: Brighton, Forest, Newcastle, Man City, Fulham, Bournemouth (6)
Newcastle: Villa, Brighton, Chelsea, Arsenal (4)
Bournemouth: Fulham, Arsenal, Villa, Man City, (4)
Fulham: Arsenal, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Villa, Man City (6)
It’ll be hard to work out expected returns for the teams with all that mess, let’s look at what they got from each other in the first half of the season.
Forest: 4pts. Man City: 3pts. Chelsea: 5pts. Brighton: 7pts. Villa: 8pts. Newcastle: 6pts. Bournemouth: 8pts. Fulham: 6pts
That only adds up to 47pts, it’s not mathematically sound but divide that by the 8 teams (not counting Liverpool or Arsenal) it looks around about 6pts off each other? I’d like to come back in May to see if that was what happened if we win both our games that’s some what unbelievable!

I like this analysis. I'm hoping we end up playing a bunch of games against teams with nothing to play for which will only further support our chances.
