Our Goalkeepers

Absolutely he needs competitive football not training matches. Proper games with opponents trying to knock him about and get under his skin, he looks like he has never experienced that.

It was weird that not one Forest player came to him after the mistake to put their arm round him or tell him to shake it off.

Is there a language/communication issue with him (I am aware that some will be able to converse with him)?

Not from where I was stood.

It's likely Miguel well be moved on in the summer even if it's a loan but I do feel for him.

Im so passionate regarding the fact that the U23s system is S**t compared to the old reserve structure. We need players from our bench getting minutes every week/every other week.

Going into the summer we thought Sels needed replacing. He has had regular football with a solid defence and is now the best in the league.

Miguel comes in 3 times in 6 months with a replacement defence and gets all the scrutiny. Tough for him.

I mean he literally caught and dropped the ball.

He’s actually been treated pretty well compared to what happened with Crossley and how long that stigma stayed with him (arguably for the rest of his career with us).

I used to say that Pantimillion had the heart of a mouse, particularly when challenged for crosses, hopefully any similarities to that are unfounded but in the top league you have to take your opportunities when they are presented.

His saving grace will be that Hennessy is a pretty piss poor alternative

Yes he dropped the ball.

It happens to all goalkeepers it's nothing new.

Strikers miss sitters.

Defenders get caught in possession or make a bad back pass.

That's football.

Hope Nuno puts his arm around Miguel and has a quiet word with him and he can put it behind him.

Sels did the same at Anfield when it was 0-0 and got away with it. If that had gone in who knows wha5 would have happened to his confidence and the teams results.

The coaching staff won’t judge him on that 1 error. They must think he is good enough to play or they wouldn’t give him minutes.

We have finally signed the young goalkeeper Alastair Graham from Dundee.

TBF Kelleher played a few games whilst Alisson was injured.

Because Sels isn't flashy and doesn't ping passes everywhere he flies under the radar but you can't really ask for any more than he's given us since he signed - particularly this season.

He’s my player of the season right now.

The defense has shown over the past six or so weeks that Matz really is the difference for us defensively.

He deserves all the plaudits IMO.
